My father-in-law recently bought a new-to-him 2021 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition. While he loves the truck overall, he was disappointed by the lack of interior storage compared to his old Tundra. He wanted a spot for basic truck essentials—like jumper cables—but the factory setup just didn’t offer much.
After some online searching, I found a few storage solutions: one for the bed, one for the center console, and one for under the rear seat. The under-seat unit turned out to be exactly what he was looking for.
Installation was simple and took less than an hour, thanks to the included template. The toughest part was cutting away the foam under the carpet—especially the center section, where you have to be extra cautious not to damage the wire harness directly beneath. But once the three carpet sections were trimmed, the storage bin just dropped right in. Super easy!
He’s really happy with it now—and finally has a place to store his gear neatly and securely.
